ICIEOM 2013 Best Student Project Award
We challenge students to present their projects at ICIEOM 2013.
The ICIEOM 2013 Best Student Project Award is an opportunity to display to the Industrial Engineering (IE) and Operations Management (OM) community all the great projects being currently developed by our soon-to-be engineers.
By entering the ICIEOM 2013 Best Student Project Award, the students can gain not only visibility and recognition to their projects but they can also widen their networks through a close contact with IE and OM teachers, researchers, professionals and other students from the world over.
General rules and guidelines
- The competition is based on a paper presentation referring to a project regarding IE or OM themes (http://www.icieom.org/interna.asp?p=1&c=2)
- All the authors must have done the project in the condition of students (i.e. no teachers are allowed as authors).
- The ICIEOM 2013 Best Student Project Award is developed in two stages:
- First, the team should submit a paper describing the context of the project (name of the university, course, year, name of the subject, project theme), insights concerning the project development and management and the project’s main findings and/or results. A jury will be appointed to select the best papers which will move on to the next competition stage.
- In the second stage, the best papers should be presented at the ICIEOM 2013 conference. From this oral presentation the winner of the ICIEOM 2013 Best Student Project Award will be elected.
Prize
The ICIEOM 2013 Best Student Project Award prize will soon be announced.
